ASHLEY EHIMWENMAN
Executive Director & Co-Founder, BOWA Gives
Ashley is a dynamic leader who blends purpose, creativity, and strategy to drive meaningful impact in both business and community. As the Executive Director and Co-Founder of BOWA Gives, the philanthropic arm of BOWA Construction, she leads initiatives that empower underserved youth through sport, mentorship, and career development. Since launching BOWA Gives in 2022, Ashley has grown the organization into a force for good, focused on intentional, long-term impact.
Ashley also serves as Marketing & Communications Director at BOWA Construction, where she has helped shape the company’s brand and culture over nearly a decade. Her previous role as People & Company Culture Manager laid the groundwork for BOWA’s strong internal alignment and community-driven values.
Ashley built a career in brand strategy, product training, and grassroots marketing. She held leadership roles at Nike, working in brand and retail marketing roles and Life Fitness and Hammer Strength, where she oversaw global training initiatives.
A proud alum of The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, Ashley earned her degree in Operations Management and Marketing while competing as a Division I track & field athlete. She’s also a certified personal trainer and holds a "Train the Trainer" certificate from the Association for Talent Development.
Whether she’s leading community activations, mentoring youth through career pathways in construction, or encouraging her three kids to experience life as student-athletes – Ashley brings a unique blend of heart, hustle, and vision to everything she does.
“Use your sport as a vehicle, not a destination. Be a student first — of the classroom and of the game — because greatness isn't just built on talent, but on discipline, knowledge, and the courage to prepare for life beyond the final whistle."
